We are currently seeking IRONWORKERS with industrial experience to join our team operation in Sparrwood, BC on a 14/7 shift for 3 months. The ideal candidates are interested in adding their unique experience and value to a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Flagging and spotting during offloading structural steel with telehandlers or cranes.
- Assist in Pre-assembly, rigging and hoisting of wall bents and roof bay lifts.
- Stick build steel erection.
- Bolt up, plumbing and impacting
- Rigging and signaling telehandlers and cranes
- Torch cutting and grinding
- Tacking and welding
- Ensuring the safety of yourself, your crew and equipment is held to the highest standards
- Ability to inspect your work and meet deadlines
- Following all safety and PPE site requirements
- Working safely in all weather conditions
- Desire to work safely at heights
- Reliable method of transportation to and from site
Requirements
- Must possess valid drivers license and vehicle
- 3 years of Ironworking experience
- Must possess a valid Fall Protection certification
- Must possess a valid Arial work certification
- Must possess a valid CSTS -09 or 20
- Must be able to Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test
- Physically capable of performing all tasks required
Work Conditions
- Must be able to comfortably work at heights
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts
- Must be able to physically complete all job tasks
