Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner, following proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Assist with catering and banquet food preparation as needed
- Keep workstations clean and organized, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Perform meat cutting and other food preparation tasks as required
- Operate cash register and Aloha POS system for order processing
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficient in using knives and other kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate food preparation and plating
Note: Previous experience as an Expo/ Chef de Partie in a similar role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
