Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of pools and spa areas
- Test and balance water chemistry to ensure proper sanitation levels
- Monitor and adjust pool equipment, such as pumps, filters, and heaters
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues as needed
- Skim and remove debris from the surface of the water
- Vacuum and brush pool walls and floors to remove dirt and algae
- Backwash and clean pool filters regularly
- Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities
- Perform seasonal pool openings and closings
- Perform Liner Repairs
- Assist in pool installation where required.
Skills:
- Knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with pool equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to test water chemistry using appropriate testing kits
- Strong attention to detail to ensure proper sanitation levels
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting heavy equipment or moving supplies
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address equipment issues or water quality problems
