mid-sized demolition and hazardous material remediation company is looking for a person with experience in project management, ideally with the ability to perform estimating duties as well
have you been in the field for a considerable amount of time and are looking for a less physical role in the industry where you can still apply your knowledge? are you simply looking for fresh challenges? we are willing to work with someone with the right approach / mindset, and train accordingly.
- should be able to muti-task and operate somewhat independantly
- should be able to function in a fluid environment
- able to co-ordinate schedules and work load, schedule appropriate manpower accordingly
- able to communicate effectively with foremen, site supervisors and other project managers
- able to attend site visits, confirm scope by cross referencing to drawings and take into account site conditions
- able to oversee and manage safety requirements on all active jobs
- valid drivers licence required
we work across a range of activities and scopes including;
- selective and bulk demolition of structures and finishes
- remediation of hazardous materials; asbestos, mould, lead etc
- concrete cutting, coring, breaking and removal
* salary or hourly
* range between 60-90,000.00
* health plan
* to be negotiated with successful candidate
this is a full time, permanent position
