Each role is, for us, essential and today we are looking for a : Warehouse supervisor
Your missions?
Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, the Warehouse supervisor is responsible for the personnel in his department and for all transport and warehouse activities.The Supervisor must plan, organise, coordinate, lead and improve all activities related to the management of the warehouse. They must offer support to our production line by following the established schedule.
Your responsabilities ?

Supervise the day-to-day operations in the warehouse (receiving and shipping orders, personnel, etc.)

Ensure an efficient transition between shifts

Maintain working relationships and encourage employee involvement in problem solving.

Ensure warehouses are operated on a regular basis in compliance with health and safety, C-TPAT and PIP.

Manage facility storage space and keep the cost of external storage as low as possible.

Administer in collaboration with the purchasing department, picking and delivery of raw materials from various suppliers.

Negotiate tariff agreements with carriers (LTL, TL) & customs brokers.

Prepare and approve freight and customs invoices.
-
Responsable for Health and safety, GMP, C-TPAT/PIP, 5S and food safety.

Who are we looking for?
Academic Background:
-
University degree or DEC in an appropriate field
Experience:
-
2 years of appropriate experience (transport, warehouse, logistics)
-
Experience supervising personnel
-
Experience in the food industry
