The Industrial Sales Consultant-Microscopy is responsible for developing a sales strategy for a defined territory, implementing the sales plan, promoting and demonstrating the company’s products and services, with the goal of attaining a sales target. Since the territory is all eastern Canada, the candidate needs to be fluent in French and English.
Specific responsibilities
- Meeting the sales target for their territory on all products;
- Visit customers to demonstrate product and discuss sales opportunities on a daily basis in the assigned territory;
- Completing, working, reviewing, and improving a Sales Plan that includes an action plan for increasing sales to active customers and prospective customers, scheduling full coverage of the territory;
- Prospecting and cold calling to identify new business opportunities;
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, engineering;
- At least 3 years of proven successful experience in microscopy sales ;
- Fluent in French and English ;
- Ability to learn technical software applications that are used with the products;
- Be available to spend approximately 75% of the time travelling to meet with customers.
