Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Conduct cold calling and follow-up activities to generate leads and schedule appointments
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs, providing product knowledge and conducting test drives
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals in a professional and ethical manner
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall dealership goals
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new models, features, and specifications
- Ensure proper inventory control, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating with the inventory department
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in car sales or a similar role is NOT preferred. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn from scratch & adapt to our environment and sales process. Full training offered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for calculating pricing, financing options, and discounts
- Organizational skills to manage customer information, appointments, and paperwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in retail math concepts for pricing calculations and profit margins
