RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the dispensary
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Provide counseling and education to patients on medication use and potential side effects
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and pharmaceutical developments
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Valid pharmacist license in the Province of Manitoba
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with non-dispensary staff
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer systems and Kroll pharmacy software
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: $48.00-$60.00 per hour
