Mexican Trattoria is a seasonal Mexican restaurant located under the the giant cedar tree. The outside environment creates a great workplace.
We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food service industry and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Greet guests and take their orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions guests may have
- Enter orders into the POS system accurately
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their meal
- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties as needed
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all sanitation guidelines when handling food and beverages
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Basic math skills required for cash handling and order entry
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and guest services preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to provide excellent guest relations while maintaining a fast-paced work environment
