Our client, Waycon Manufacturing Ltd. is an industrial equipment and machinery manufacturer located in Penticton, BC. They specialize in building a wide variety of world-class equipment and machinery for customers across multiple industries in North America. Situated on over 2 acres of land, their facility is equipped with the latest in-house state-of-the-art tooling, equipment and engineering technology to provide a wide variety of manufacturing capabilities including concept design, CNC machining, fabrication, welding, painting, and assembly to testing.
They are currently looking for an experienced Assembly Maintenance person to join their team. The ideal candidate will require strong technical capabilities in mechanical, electrical and hydraulics to ensure their 33,400 sq foot facility is optimal and manufactured parts are assembled safely and to high quality standards.

Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished product;

Test and check electrical assembling and wiring for proper connections;

Quality check subassemblies and inspect finished products;

Trouble shoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems;

Coordinate work tasks with production team;

Ensure machinery and equipment is working at maximum output;

Maintain and document equipment maintenance records;

Install/test equipment as needed;

Building and maintenance repair;

Ensure work area remains clean and organized;

Oversee all maintenance safety programs.

Millwright Journeyman with minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience;

Experience working with mechanical, electrical and hydraulics;

Hold high quality and safety standards in workmanship;

Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in team environment;

Professional communication skills;

Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
