If you have been driving commercially for any length of time you have all seen them.
New drivers who have somehow "graduated" from a trucking school and were never taught a proper pretrip or how to off set or 90 degree back a truck and trailer!
We dont get it either!
This type of "training" is out there and its getting worse and it compromises the saftey of all the people who use the road.
Here is your chance to make a difference.
North American Transport Driving Academy is a registered Private Vocational School committed to quality hands on commercial driver training and education.
We are adding one more truck and trailer to Smiths Falls due to the high demand for our type of hands on training.
We strive to impart to our students the industry based skills and knowledge that will make a differeance not only in their lives but in the lives of all the people they share the roads with.
That is our mission, that is our vision and we continue to expect more from ourselves and our students every single day.
No chapter 6 (teach to pass a test) and no training on a computer monitor and no driving the "Drive Test" track aimlessly day after day. Practical, hands on training for a vocation with most of the truck time being one on one.
Work includes presenting in class; leading discussions; discussing student progress with staff and management; working out doors with students teaching pre trip; air brakes; basic driving and backing skills.
We teach licence classes A (Auto and Manual), AR, D (Auto and Manual) and the Z endorsement
