Revive Pipe Restoration Inc is a specialized sewer pipe rehabilitation company that rehabilitates sewer pipes in complex configurations inside of buildings and underground pipes outside of buildings. We install new pipes inside of old pipes using trenchless techniques. The liners are soft and malleable when they are installed in the old pipes and they cure and harden, forming new pipes inside of the old pipes.

Revive Pipe Restoration Inc. (www.revivepipes.com) has permanent and full time positions available for Field Service Technicians. The position is based in Calgary, but the successful applicant will be required to work on projects across Western Canada and at night dependent on the project. Currently, the bulk of the work will be in the Calgary area, and approximately 25% will be out of town or night work.
The expectation for this position is for a long term role, where the successful applicant can grow their career, increasing their responsibilities and service areas of expertise. The demand for trenchless pipe rehabilitation is increasing as our infrastructure ages and the successful candidate can launch a career in an innovative field.
Duties (will progressively advance to include all of these activities)
· Install cured in place pipe (CIPP) linings in existing sewer pipes and other conduits to rehabilitate them
· Conduct video inspections of sewer pipes
· Operating robotic cutters
· Entering confined spaces including trenches and manholes to perform work
· Perform rehabilitation of manholes, sump pits and similar structures
· Prepare pipes and apply field coatings to piping systems
· Inspect existing pipes and conduits using video inspection equipment, pressure tests and listening techniques
· Clean and Remove Blockages from Existing Pipes, Manholes, Pits and Conduits using mechanical tools and hydrojetters
· Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
· Repair and modify electrical and mechanical systems
· Prepare work area for pipe or pit rehabilitation work
· Restore work area after rehabilitation work is completed
· Trace leaks in piping systems to determine repair locations
· Utilize Trenchless Techniques to replace existing piping
· Maintain and service equipment and tools
· Conduct hazard assessments and participate in safety inspections, tool box meetings, and health & safety meetings
· Ensure yourself and others on the jobsite are working in a safe manner
· Respond to inquiries at tradeshows
· Liaise with clients on job sites
Requirements
