Job Description
Do you want to spend the fall working in beautiful Muskoka? Cranberry harvesting might be for you. If you’re a hard working, self motivated person looking for a totally unique job, then we want you. You bring the willingness to work and learn, and we can provide the training.
We have a variety of positions available:
- picking crew- rain or shine the picking crew gets cranberries from bog to packinghouse by operating the picker, moving shallow boats full of cranberries, operating the excavator and driving the dump truck
- outside packing line operation- this crew gets cranberries ready for the packinghouse by operating the outside packing line equipment
- inside packinghouse operations- the crew inside the packinghouse operates sorting and grading equipment, visually inspects the cranberries and packages them for sale.
We’re looking for people with:
- The work ethic to get the job done, whatever it takes
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A thirst to learn new skills
- The ability to work smart, safe and solve problems as they arise
Candidates should:
- be able to work full-time from September to the end of October
- be able to work weekends
- have transportation to Bala
Pay is based on job type, qualifications and experience
Note: Staff housing and public transportation are not available

Contract length: 6 weeks
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
