When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies. As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.
You must submit a complete application, consisting of answers to screening questions. These questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and your résumé will only be used to validate the information you provided. The screening board cannot make any assumptions about your experience. It is not sufficient to say that you have the required qualifications or to list your current duties.
Use the Screening Questionnaire wisely, by demonstrating how you meet the Education and Experience Criteria listed under “Essential Qualifications” and “Asset Qualifications” (other qualifications).
In your response to the screening questions, please provide concrete examples and the following MANDATORY information:
1. Name of the employer where the experience was acquired.
2. Title of the position occupied and duration for which you exercised the functions.
3. Specific details of tasks, projects, or accomplishments demonstrating how you acquired the experience.
4. If you have less work experience, you could include volunteer work and/or summer work experience that demonstrate relevant information.
Please note that point form, “copy and paste" from your resume and comments such as “refer to my attached resume” will NOT be accepted. Failure to provide this information in the requested format WILL result in your application being rejected. We will not contact you to obtain further information.
