Role and Responsibilities
- Provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Perform pulmonary function testing in acceptance with the latest ERS/ATS standards
- Perform 6 minute walk tests as well as single blind walk tests
- Assist with quality control and infection control
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
- Completion of a respiratory therapy diploma from a recognized institution
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Decision-making skills under stressful situations, capability to assess implications of these decisions and integrate appropriate action
- Good oral, written and communication skills in English, French is an asset
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Bilingual
- Experience with pulmonary function testing & VMAX system is an asset but not required

- 8 hour shift
