About You:
The purchasing coordinator will manage store inventory to support the business needs and operations of the Gimli site while ensuring compliance with Company and legislative requirements. You will utilize leadership and negotiating skills to manage relationships with external vendors and cross-functional internal stakeholders by:

Top Accountabilities:
Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Reconcile customer material billing and invoice to purchase order price variances.
Create, analyze and revise purchase orders in Company systems (i.e., SAP, Coupa, Newgen).
Oversee receipt and verification of incoming shipments and track and report material backorders.
Ensure materials are unloaded, stored, verified and recorded according to policy.
Track and trace freight.
Inventory Management:
Maintain daily inventory reconciliation and create detailed inventory reports.
Perform internal inventory audits and checks on a regular basis and communicate results to the manager.
Ensure orderly storage and accurate inventory record of finished goods is maintained in accordance with established procedures.
Vendor Management:
Assist with recruiting new vendors and trade partners, set up new vendor and trade packages.
Set up, plan and coordinate with vendors.
Analyze data and forecast requirements with vendors.
Assist with creation and maintenance of specification documents.
Responsible for related administrative, clerical and record retention duties
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including SAP and Coupa.
Previous experience with supply chain management preferred.
High level of experience using MS Office Programs.
Proven analytical and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to analyze projects/processes, develop and implement recommendations, and sound decision making to support business needs.
