The Property Masters Grounds division is looking for a Chief Grounds Keeper who has horticulture experience to lead our crew. Experience in managing a crew, scheduling and in the duties this division performs is required. We help maintain commercial properties in Sherwood Park and Edmonton Area. As the leader of our Grounds Crew you can expect to perform a wide variety of tasks to ensure that all Properties are well maintained on a daily basis. This is a full-time position and must be able to be on call if needed and work weekends as all year round seasonal work is governed by weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain lawn and turf surfaces including spring and fall clean up
- Maintain all walkways and parking surfaces
- Maintain all vegetation
- Maintain / clean exterior windows
- Maintain general conditions of all exterior grounds - littler, planting, cultivating, pruning, trimming, weeding, pest and insect control
- Maintain all signage and reporting of general conditions
- Maintain all walkways and parking lots clear of snow during winter conditions
- Assist with general maintenance / repairs of Company equipment as required
- General maintenance duties as assigned
- Respond to weather emergencies
- Observe all Company safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Skid Steer Experience is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge of general shop equipment considered an asset
- Minimum of 2 years experience in both the duties listed above and team lead
Personal Competencies:
- Be able to demonstrate an awareness of accident and injury prevention, adhere to safe work practices and procedures
- Report any unsafe acts and conditions and complies with safety and fire regulations/procedures.

Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
