Business Systems Analyst
We are seeking a qualified individual to fill a Business Systems Analyst position.
Successful candidates must be able to prioritize responsibilities, identify and document user stories, requirements, and test cases.
Exceptionally qualified candidates will also be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Excellent documentation skills are a must.

Duties:
- Construct detailed workflow charts, use case diagrams, and specifications to optimize system capabilities.
- Recommend solutions through problem identification and procedure enhancement.
- Oversee project trajectories, providing regular progress reports and addressing issues promptly.
- Analyze and summarize data for technical report creation.
- Ensure up-to-date system protocols by revising and establishing procedures.
- Write comprehensive descriptions of user requirements and program functionalities.
- Prepare technical specifications for web-based applications, and maintain user documentation.
- Offer consistent help desk support and train users as necessary.
- Utilize extensive experience and creativity to address operational objectives by understanding business dynamics.
- Gather business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document crucial processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate innovative business analysis practices.
- Develop a deep understanding of business operations, data attributes, and lead discussions on business requirements.
- Represent business stakeholders in technical discussions and maintain open communication channels.
- Work collaboratively with vendors, overseeing requirements analysis, and ensuring user needs are met.
- Assist fellow Business Analysts, propose new product features, and lead requirements prioritization efforts.
- Streamline interfaces for company software and hardware, ensuring user-friendliness.
- Monitor security tools, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions.
- Track user behavior for software improvements and future iterations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of experience in business analysis or a related field (or exceptional knowledge and skills for someone with less than 5 years)
- Excellent documentation skills
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Ability to understand and create Behavioral UML documentation
- Competency in Microsoft or Google office applications
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and individual environment
- Excellent communication, training, and speaking skills
- Ability to create Structural UML documentation a plus
- Ability to influence stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions a plus
- Ability to create and present briefings or demonstrations a plus
- Prior experience in a software or consulting setting a plus
