Hearthstone by the Bay is an upscale retirement condominium located on the shores of Lake Ontario. We are seeking a Concierge/Security Guard with a passion for seniors and excellent at customer service. You must have a valid security guard license.
The shift is Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Concierge is responsible for monitoring and managing all access points, our emergency response and security plans and equipment, and ensure a safe and secure environment for the community at large.
The Concierge will establish and maintain excellent customer service, respond to inquiries, greet, receive, screen, document, all residents, guests, and visitors in a pleasant, courteous, and helpful manner.
The Concierge is responsible for receiving and redirecting external & internal calls and providing general information and assistance as required.
The Concierge will monitor all security, fire and emergency systems and respond appropriately; maintain control until emergency officials can assume responsibility. Complete walking patrols and inspections of the entire community.
Assist residents with making appointments, providing directions, and responding to general inquiries. Thus, providing assistance and support for the Property Manager, on-site Maintenance staff and Club Operations
Register, record and control issuance of building keys, fobs or Hearthstone by the Bay devices and equipment, which could put the security of the community at risk.
Enforce property rules to maintain the wellbeing, security and safety of the residents and their assets. Control and prevent un-authorized access, excessive noise, smoking and other disturbances.
Report and respond to any unusual occurrences, activities or incidents that might prejudice good order of the property and complete an incident report detailing the circumstances, actions taken and sequence of events.
