We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Representative to join our expanding sales department. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, qualifying leads, and initiating meaningful conversations that lead to successful sales conversions. Your efforts will contribute directly to the company's growth and success.
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers within target industries.
- Utilize various lead generation strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads and gather essential information to assess their needs and potential fit with our solutions.
- Schedule and conduct introductory meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and track progress using CRM software.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular feedback to the marketing and product teams to enhance lead generation efforts.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and sales conversion.

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of both tactical sales techniques and strategic sales planning.
- Experience in outbound sales, including prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed business decisions.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
