Job Description
Our Customer Service Representative interfaces with client customers of SharkNinja via inbound/outbound calls and/or via the Internet. This position is onsite in our beautifully renovated facility and provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems regarding SharkNinja's product and/or services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

Interface with customers via inbound calls who have questions or concerns that require additional support
-
Achieve specific support and resolution on every call

Use script and/or probing techniques to determine customer needs and offer the most appropriate advice or service for particular situations

Be a ‘brand ambassador’ for SharkNinja products by promoting the brand and building loyalty through excellent customer interactions

Understand the impact they have on the customer’s perception of the SharkNinja brand
-
Consultatively position and sell SharkNinja products and services by identifying customer needs and sharing targeted features and benefits to improve product experiences

Have a general interest in SharkNinja products and understanding of what they can do

Describe their home maintenance routine; how do they clean? What do they use?

Desire to learn more about SharkNinja products and how they are used in the home for better cleaning experiences

Be willing to be a brand ambassador for Shark and Ninja Products – promote the brand to customers, go beyond just answering questions, show enthusiasm and excitement for what products do and how they can make a difference in one’s life

Desire to learn more about SharkNinja products and how they are used in the home for better cleaning and cooking/food preparation experiences
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every customer interaction. Other qualifications for our Customer Service Representative role include:

A High School Diploma and/or GED
-
Minimum of 6 months experience in sales, customer retention or similar role
-
Live within 40- 50kms radius of our Chatham, Ontario site

Hours of Operation - Monday - Friday 9am - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm

Wage $18.50/hour

$500 Employee Referral Bonus after 90 days for August and September starts

2 weeks training
-
Strong PC knowledge and computer navigation skills
-
Ability to work in Windows environment

Ability to research in database to find information
-
Familiarity with Customer Service tools (e.g., ZenDesk) a plus

Experience upselling and cross-selling products

Excellent influencing/persuasion skills
-
Conflict management skills – ability to manage conflict and have a proactive attitude
