We are currently hiring for a maternity leave position with the potential of staying on. The hours are Thursdays 10am-6pm, Fridays 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-4pm.

Job Details
The candidate would be a part time member of staff working full days Thursday-Saturday. The role would include assisting customers in the cafe with purchases and inquiries. It would also include working with the senior cake decorator on cakes and cupcakes. This would involve fondant work with cake decorations, figures and cupcake toppers as well as working with buttercream and royal icing. Filling and masking cakes would also be completed with this role.
Skill Requirements
We are looking for someone with artistic ability and some familiarity working with different materials. Cake decorating experience is a necessity but is an asset. We are willing to train an ideal candidate but artistic ability is very helpful.
Great attention to detail, organizational skills and creative problem solving skills are all assets to this position. The role will benefit from someone that is able to learn new techniques quickly.
