ABOUT THE JOB:
Financing and Transaction Banking (FTB) handles the structured finance transactions initiated primarily by Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) department (asset financing, cash flow financing, securitization, debt advisory and corporate finance), as well as the orchestration of the IS & Digital strategies and delivery & maintenance of IT projects of GLBA.
The focus for this position will be to support the Asset backed products (ABP) desks and capital market financing middle office teams.
Our range of skills vary from improving and maintaining our .NET applications and APIs, developing web applications, setting and upgrading our continuous delivery infrastructure and assisting internal customers in their daily challenges. Ideally you would see yourself evolving well in this environment.
We are also currently in the process of modernizing and revamping our platform (including C++ systems) and are looking for someone that is up for the challenge.
As an inherent part of the team, you will take ownership of many new projects to come and help contribute, fix and refactor our current code base. You will meet and talk with our internal customers daily and assist with translating business challenges into structured and scalable solutions.
Technical stacks:
.Net C#/ C++ - React (Typescript is a plus) – MSSQL, PostGre SQL – Team city, Jenkins – Docker/Kybernetes – Elastic stack (Elastic search, Kibana, Beats, Logstash)
What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?
Our team is looking for full stack software Engineer to help build and maintain internal software for the department. We are a small, agile team, part of a global larger team, that designs, develops, tests, ships and support our tools from end to end.
As a part of the team, you will be able to:
Identify and troubleshoot software and application issues
Build and maintain web applications
Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies
Work closely with internal teams and key external partners to ensure new developments align with roadmaps and integrate with other platform components
Support ongoing developments for existing projects and applications
Take full responsibility, ownership and initiative for the web/API application development efforts
Create CI/CD pipelines for artifacts
Create effective, reusable code and libraries
Keep documentation of application updates and monitor application performance
Stick to architectural compliance, functional accuracy validation, and application development best practices
