Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Full Time/Part Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Merivale Medical Imaging.
Hours of work:
20-37.5 per week, no on call , 1 weekend day per month
Summary of Duties:
- Responsible of shipping and receiving of radiopharmaceuticals
- Collecting the appropriate medical information and patient history for the procedure
- Responsible for ensuring the proper patient and scan is booked
- Preform bone scans and cardiac perfusion imaging per the departments procedures and clinical procedures
- Preform and record quality control on equipment per clinic standards, as well as identifying problems with equipment and reporting it to the appropriate personal
- Follow the clinics Radiation Safety Manual as well as CNSC regulations for radiation safety
Qualifications/Skills
- CMRTO Registration
- OAMRS Registration
- CPR
- ACLS is an asset
- French is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work alone or in a team environment
- Attention to detail
