Due to growth, we have an immediate need to fill the above position.
Job description
This is a Monday-Friday full time shop hand/helper position at our local shop just east of Edson. Flexible hours. Great opportunity for someone to get into the industry and/or apprentice if interested. No experience necessary, but any autobody/mechanical experience is an asset. Training will be provided. Must be eager to learn new things. We look forward to hearing from you.
Duties
-Assist technician in various auto body repairs
-Clean/wash customer vehicles before and after repairs are done
-Maintain shop cleanliness and organize materials inventory
-Site maintenance on occasion (shovel snow, trim grass etc.)
-Pickup/drop off parts and customer vehicles
-Check parts shipments for damage and put into storage properly
Requirements
-Basic knowledge of hand and air tools
-Must have a valid class 5 drivers license
-Must have own transportation to get to and from work
-Organized and self-motivated
-Professional appearance and customer service skills
-Physically fit, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
Wage depending on experience

Salary: $16.00-$28.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

- Yellowhead County, AB T7E 3S6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
