Who We Need
Nomis Solutions is seeking an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to serve our growing customer base of retail banks in North America and APAC, around pricing optimization of their lending and deposits portfolio. You will lead and manage end-to-end customer pricing engagements to ensure clients' business needs are configured into our solutions. You are curious, collaborative, structured, detail oriented and a good team player. You are passionate about your work and can persuade your audience based on the power of your analysis and experience. You can zoom out to understand the big picture and zoom in to any level of detail. You are meticulous, clear in your approach and analysis, and possess the ability to critique your work so you can better explain it to others. You have the drive to make processes more efficient.

What you will do
Consulting. You will serve as a solution expert taking on the business analyst role across multiple concurrent engagements. Extract, analyze and assess client business needs in a structured, collaborative way and translate into solution design while offering best practices and recommendations for client's business. Responsible for client project deliverables such as solution design, interface documentation, configuration log or decision documentation. Coordinate with project teams (including project manager, internal stakeholders, and customer stakeholders) to keep projects on-time and on-budget, with high quality and customer satisfaction/retention. Perform and document system configuration based on client's workflow and business process recommendations and security roles. Provide technical expertise and perform business acceptance testing.
Data & Analytics. You will develop data pipeline and modelling specifications based on customer requirements. Build, adapt, and validate data pipeline and customer response models leveraging strong SQL, R, and Excel skills. Develop expertise regarding the Nomis Price Optimizer (nPO) software platform and its various analytical and technical components; apply this expertise to effective and efficient solution design and configuration based on a given financial institution's requirements. Design and implement A|B test programs to prove product and pricing recommendations in market. Collaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into solution design, modelling plan and execution, software configuration, and timelines. Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports that drive informed business decisions and measure performance. Identify insights, features, and enhancements to be productized by the development team.
Earn trust. You will foster trusted working relationships internally and with our clients, understand their objectives and challenges and design solutions to solve them. You will translate unstructured business problems into actionable analyses for non-technical teams. You will package findings into market facing communications that showcase our value and entice prospects to purchase Nomis offerings.
Be a subject matter expert. You will develop your knowledge of our solutions and the banking industry. You will research, design, and prototype new product offerings for our customers.
What you bring
Financial Services or Consulting Experience. You have 3+ years of experience within the financial services or consulting industry. Knowledge of loan origination and deposits portfolio management is a plus. You have proven experience working with complex, enterprise clients and client audiences at all levels of the organization. Exceptional problem-solving skills, collaborative teamwork mentality, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail.
Adaptable. You can support multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines. Able to take direction from manager, project manager or from peers and be adaptable to working in a matrixed environment. Willingness to travel as needed to client site(s).
Interpersonal skills. You thrive in an autonomous role and are also a valuable team member. You have an authentic and engaging communication style. You understand the value of empathy and are an active listener that seeks to understand prior to opining. You naturally understand when to compromise and when to hold firm, all in a way that deepens the strength of your relationships with others. You can clearly communicate to clients through various channels (in person, virtual and written) and organize thoughts, agenda, and objectives.
Expertise to simplify complexity. You can understand and communicate statistical and analytical concepts and findings to business and technical audiences with appropriate levels of detail and emphasis. Familiarity with SQL and R is a plus.
Vision. You have a strategic and forward-thinking mindset which will enable you to anticipate the needs of our customers and consistently deliver beyond their expectations. You are always striving to grow and improve your knowledge and skillset. Results oriented and looks for ways to challenge the status quo.
