Job Title: Research Chemist

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Analyze, synthesize, characterize and evaluate the chemical components and their properties and effects in our newly developed products High Resistance Panel (HRP) and Temperature Control Materials (TCM) for energy saving in buildings.
· Design and develop the standard operating procedures for quality of the raw materials, chemical intermediates and the products (HRP and TCM).
· Analyze and interpret data using techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
· Conduct research on the adsorption and catalysis processes to develop new and improved chemical components for HRP and TCM.
· Design and carry out experiments to test the effectiveness of various adsorbents and catalysts in process of the Intimate Coupling of Photocatalysis and Biodegradation (ICPB) to remove pollutants from wastewater.
· Collaborate with other researchers, engineers and scientists to develop and implement new technologies for ICPB.
· Analyze data and interpret results to identify trends and make recommendations for further research.
· Prepare and present research findings in both technical and non-technical reports and publications.
· Stay current with the latest developments in the field of adsorption and catalysis for environmental protection through literature review and participation in professional organizations.
· Participate in the development of patent applications for new technologies.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field is required
- A master's or doctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field is required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a research position in the field of adsorption and catalysis.
- Strong experience in conducting theoretical, experimental and applied research, analyzing data, and interpreting results
- Strong experience in collaborating with other researchers, engineers and scientists
Certification or Licensing:
- A valid professional license or certification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred but not required.
Language Proficiency:
- Strong verbal and written communication in English is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
