Who are we looking for?
The MCA leads the Market Center (office) staff in designing and implementing powerful support and operational systems that empower our associates businesses. They are leaders in strategic, financial decision making, ensure appropriate bookkeeping and accounting systems are accurately maintained, complete weekly soft closes, and assess Company Dollar daily. MCAs own Market Center profitability and understand that increasing revenue through growth in market share unlimits their opportunity.
They will proactively handle challenging people/situations, and be accommodating with a supportive attitude. They will have persistence, strong follow-up skills, and comfort with routine. They must be relaxed, steady, and work with methodical pace while using proof/facts and a high level of objectivity/impartiality in their actions and decision-making. They must have the ability to work with facts and technical information, have a strong attention to detail, be cooperative, and work “by the book.” They must establish and nurture personal relationships and must be comfortable with personal conflict that may arise. The individual must be an independent decision maker, self-sufficient, and self-directed in their activities.
The MCA is a leader in the Market Center. They will leverage the Growth Initiative tools to assist the Team Leader in sharing the Market Center’s value story with staff and associates. They will prepare and update the Growth Initiative tools and assist the Team Leader in leveraging them to provide value to associates. The MCA will work directly with staff members to drive retention of the 80 percent of associates that the Team Leader is not directly responsible for retaining.
The MCA must understand that to run effectively and efficiently, a Market Center must tend to its associates’ needs in such a way that they (the associates) are receiving the expected level of service and remain satisfied with the level of service provided by the Market Center. The MCA will be involved with clerical, administrative, agent associates, and managerial parties in an ongoing daily basis. As such the MCA must ensure that appropriate bookkeeping and accounting systems are accurately maintained. They may also be tasked with managing, training, and consulting the agent services team and assisting the Team Leader in managing agents and the Market Center.
What will you do?
Day to day accounting and bookkeeping include A/R, A/P, Payroll, bank reconciliations, create and review Income Statements, Balance Sheets, etc.
Accurate banking and dat entry
Computerized bookkeeping and general computer experience
Purchasing
General office skills
Assist Team Leader in managing agents and office
Supervise office staff
Transmit monthly data on time
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Computer input
Bookkeeping (A/R and A/P)
Systems implementation
Purchasing (supplies and equipment)
Maintain office equipment and technology
Create agendas and record meeting minutes
Hiring, training, and consulting personnel
Introduction of new products/services to existing agent associates
Managing receptionists, agents, etc.
Communications / Interactions
OP/TL – Accountability/Awareness meeting – weekly
Staff (Team Leader, MCA Assistant, Receptionist) – daily
Sales Associates – daily
Buyers/Sellers/Vendors – daily
Management responsibilities

Knowledge / Skills
Minimum 5+ years accounting and/or financial experience is a must
University degree or post secondary education with expertise in accounting or business
CPA designation is a definite asset but not a must
Strong written and verbal communication skills
People oriented, positive, team player
Superb computer skills including MS Office, Google Workplace and accounting software
Full charge bookkeeping experience
Minimum 5+ years management experience
Real estate experience an asset but not a must
Compensation / Benefits
Annual salary of $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Cost shared Group Benefits including medical, dental and vision.
