Mechanical Assembly Laborer

Elite Machining Ltd, established in 1987, specializes in high precision manufacturing and assembly, focused predominately on downhole tools for the oil and gas sector.
The Position:
Elite is looking for shop Mechanical Assemblers . Responsibilities will include;
- Knowledgeable to use hand and power tools, and a bit of soldering
- Reading and following basic diagrams, drawings, specifications and bill of materials
- Able to follow directions and instructions needed to accurately assemble parts
- Disassemble, wash, and sandblast parts for repair
- Able to work unsupervised
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented
- Must be comfortable with physical activity and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Perform other general tasks as assigned by Supervisor
- Must be Canadian Resident
Expectation:
1.Cleaning the units, using hot pressure washer
2. Disassemble into their sub components,
3. Sandblasting
4. Reassembly (with new or refurbished parts),
5. Soldering,
6. Testing,
7. Packing/Boxing and shipping (this includes completing related documentation).
- All the tools for the job are supplied, if we find that additional tools are needed, Elite will supply them. Training will be provided for use of tools and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
