Canadian Tire located in Markham, 2900 Major Mackenzie, ON L6C 0G6 is seeking a Customer Service Rep/Cashier to join our team.
This position requires delivering friendly and courteous service. This role involves the operation of a computerized cash register in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers.
As a CSR/Cashier, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as you provide superior customer service while efficiently and correctly processing customer purchases on a computerized cash register.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails, ensuring all customer requests are addressed promptly
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the company database
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order processing
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues as necessary
- Follow up with customers to ensure their needs have been met and maintain customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Previous customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Highly approachable, customer-oriented individual who thrives in offering exceptional service to customers
