5G Principal Platform Technologist

We are looking for a 5G Platform Technologist who has a strong background in building platform abstraction layer with experience working in an agile team and a knack for researching new technologies. Candidates should display abilities to innovate and be creative.
What you’ll achieve:
As a Principal Platform Technologist, you will work with a cross functional global team to design, build and deliver production ready software with Dell standards.

You will:
Be part of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
Design, development, unit testing, and maintain platform services and common frameworks for native microservices deployments of all 5G RAN components including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
Design and document platform architecture components.
Support all teams with platform integration, and ensure work meets product standards
Investigate and Resolve complex customer issues with software solutions and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

Essential Requirements
8+ years of relevant experience; building platform abstraction layer for highly scalable systems, and cross-platform client and server bindings
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Python, Go as well as knowledge of container technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes)
Excellent knowledge of Linux environment (system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols,troubleshooting/debugging,networking) and bash/shell scripting
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, sockets, security, and common internet services/protocols: SNMP, DNS, LDAP, NTP, HTTP)
Desirable Requirements
Knowledge of the 5G ORAN, 5GNR technologies and the 3GPP specification that defines them is a plus
Contributions to large open source projects
