Business Systems Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement and Business Systems, this position is responsible for the coordination of business value-added projects including the design, testing, documentation, training, and implementation of customized business solutions to meet the requirements of our ERP and related business systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Provide technical and process support on the systems used across New Flyer.

Develop project plans, defining major tasks and milestones based on scope, resources, budgets, and personnel.

Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and implementing process and systems enhancements.

Work closely with business users to capture and document system requirements.

Update training documentation and operating procedure instructions.

Deliver training to operating groups as required.

Work closely with other teams to coordinate updates to Oracle and other business systems.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment using ERP applications at a high level.

Exceptional data problem-solving and project management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office; Expert Excel skills including Power Query and visualization tools such as PowerBI.

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.

LSS Green Belt or demonstrated experience preferred.

Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is considered an asset.
Up to 10% of travel is required for this position.
