BUSINESS & PLANNING ADVISOR, FLEET PMO
Engineering - Fleet Project Management Office
Victoria, Swartz Bay or Richmond
The Opportunity
As a Business & Planning Advisor, you provide a broad range of operational and administrative support to the Director, FPMO and the Fleet Project Management Office. You are responsible for the planning, delivery and quality assurance of efficient and cost-effective scheduling and administrative support service. As well as prepare, monitor and file contracts and provide reporting on PMO processes and functions.
Responsibilities

Provides full administrative support to the Director, Fleet PMO and partial support to members of the FPMO Management team

Liaise with Project Managers, Engineering Superintendents, Fleet Operations, Strategic Planning and Finance to develop long and short range refit plan

Coordinate long and short term vessel dry-dock booking requirements with external partners as required

Liaise with FPMO Project Managers and Supply Chain to coordinate and monitor various aspects of FPMO contracting, including but not limited to, ship repair contracting for vessel refit projects

Working with FPMO PM’s and Senior Business Analyst establishes annual project labour recovery hours for the department. Monitors and reports FPMO labour recovery and monthly project cost allocation

Maintaining internal and off-site file records in accordance with BCF Records Management standards
Qualifications and Skills
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations Management and/or Project Management Training with 5 to 7 years of experience in a senior administrative capacity. Complimenting those qualifications, you also have 2 to 4 years of experience in technical and business writing and long-term planning and development.
