Responsibilities
Liaising with clients to organize logistics for their participation at major trade shows and events
Develop campaigns, provide logistical feasibility, negotiate supplier rates and assist in the creation of, as well as the management of all special events
Research and recommend events by providing costs estimates, resource analysis, potential ROI, competitors, partners.
Manage and monitor projects to ensure deliverable deadlines, quality standards and budgets are met
Communicate effectively with all appropriate groups regarding events such as: planning/ date selection, conference overview, timeline, requirements, pre/ post event meetings
Qualifications
Must be fluent in English
At least 3 years of experience working with the service industry of South East Asia
At least 3 years of experience working with businesses operating in Canada and the USA
Able to work independently and confidently in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proven logistical expertise and ability to creatively solve problems;
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Advanced knowl edge of MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Internet)
Key responsibilities include:
Manage high profile sales
Staffing
Manage the operations budget
Must have thorough understanding of ticketing and net fare contracts
Quality control of tour documents
Resolve customer complaints with the assistance of the general manager
Communicate with our China partners regarding all matters pertaining to the tour operations.
Participate in some travel shows or other sales trips if need be.
Managing day to day operations of the China Outbound Department
Managing and training of the China Outbound Department team
Manage all of the day-to-day duties of the product inventory & documentation requirements for the China Outbound Department
Managing relationships with our Canadian and American travel partners
