Program Manager
UFA, Inc., a global leader in developing Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation and voice recognition technologies, is seeking a Program Manager to become an integral part of our Cornwall, ON team. Our Program Manager will support growing business needs by serving as a single point of contact between UFA and our customers. Responsible for the project life cycle, the selected candidate will ensure superior satisfaction of turnkey hardware and software simulation projects to the customer from start to finish, ensure delivery is on time and within budget.
Job Responsibilities:
Successful candidate(s) will be using their Program Management expertise and experience to support both internal UFA and external Customer activities. Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Determine and define project scope, requirements, and objectives
- Negotiate Contracts and Statements of Work
- Manage the project lifecycle from Proposal Development to Project Delivery
- Serve as the single point of contact between UFA and the customer(s) for Program decisions
- Collaborate with distributed UFA and Customer project teams, both domestic and international
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, including resource needs
- Report on Program progress to key internal and external stakeholders
- Measure program performance to identify opportunities of improvement
- Utilize Program Management tools to allow for industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or related experience
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English and French required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Domestic and International travel may be required
- Security Screening required
- Must have prior experience in Aviation
- Must have Software Development, Delivery, and Life Cycle Experience
- Within Driving Distance of Cornwall
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
