Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our HR department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR practices, possess exceptional organizational skills, and have a strong ability to multitask. This position is responsible for assisting with various HR functions, supporting the HR team, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and scheduling interviews.
- Onboard new employees by coordinating orientation sessions, preparing new hire paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job details, and performance evaluations.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, inquiries, and changes.
- Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, training and development, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and changes in HR-related laws.
- Support the HR team in organizing employee events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Help create and maintain HR documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Not required but an Asset)
- Proven experience in an HR or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
