Summary of Position
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide guidance and administrative support in all facets of Human Resources (HR) including recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding and orientation, learning and development and employee records. The HR Coordinator will use exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills to provide day-to-day guidance and support to managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible to:

Provide day-to-day HR guidance, support and interpretation of existing HR policies, procedures and programs.

Actively interface with managers and employees for internal and external inquiries by answering routine/common queries while understanding and utilizing HR practices and processes to provide sound advice.

Manage and complete recruitment lifecycle – create job postings, screen resumes, pre-screen candidates, schedule and conduct interviews and conduct reference checks.

Support the Director, Human Resources on strategic HR initiatives including due diligence, implementation, development, communication, creation of policies and HR programs and roll-out of HR-related tasks.

Demonstrates proficiency in job duties by streamlining processes and procedures and working cooperatively to provide support to all team members.

Electronic scanning, filing and archiving of employee records.

Assist with related administrative duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources.

Qualifications
-
The ideal candidate is an experienced administrative professional with prior experience providing administrative support in the Human Resources function at a small to mid-sized organization.

Post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resources Management or a related discipline.

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Human Resources role with focus on recruitment.

Working knowledge of employment legislation. Skilled at managing administrative tasks effectively and efficiently.

Previous experience working with ADP HRIS is an asset.
