Reporting directly to the Vice President, Supply Chain and Distribution, this individual and his team will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the Inbound Supply Chain operations: Procurement, both Direct and Indirect; Demand Planning; Inventory Planning; and finally, Transportation and logistics.
She/he will develop and implement monitoring and analysis tools to ensure the optimal levels of inventory across Belron Canada’s extensive distribution network (2 Distribution Centers and 26 Warehouses across Canada) to timely supply the 325 Service Centers.
She/He will be accountable to achieve challenging targets in terms of Average Acquisition Cost, Inventory levels, Transportation costs, and standardization of logistics processes.
Rôle and Responsibilities:

Understand and improve supply chain operations through the identification of key performance indicator in supplying the 26 warehouses and 2 distribution centers across Belron Canada, which in turn must timely supply inventory to a network of 325 Service Centers across the country:

Work closely to build a team that is driven by performance indicators by implementing monitoring and analysis tools to ensure the optimal execution of the Supply Chain.

In collaboration with the Vice President, participate in the development of Supply Chain optimization strategies, process improvement and standardized business processes across Canada.

Implement, monitor and drive the S&OP Process across various departments of Belron.

Act as a resource person for the application of Belron Canada key financial and inventory management processes in accordance with business rules and established good practices.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) he.she would initiate important discussions with all stakeholders, engage other departments, share the team vision, ask for support and assistance, the Director of Supply chain is a person who can navigate well internally and build a compelling vision and direction for the team.

Act as a strategic advisor to build, lead and oversee an operational team.

Focusing on health, safety, and wellbeing of employees.

Inspire, develop, and engage a diverse and capable team while developing and building tangible development plans and succession planning.

Actively participate in the creation and delivery of critical investment projects and prioritize efforts in the budgeting and planning exercises to maximize value and key implementations:

Responsibility for the leadership of implementing various Technological Solutions in our suite of IT systems: Advance Inventory Planning solution, Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Solutions as well as core ERP solution.
Required profile:
-
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management (Business/Commerce).

Approximately 15 years of overall business experience with approximately 10 years in supply chain and wholesale operations with increasing levels of responsibilities. Experience in a position with a national organization would be considered an asset to the role.

Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
