We are looking for an experienced and team-first individual to fill the new position of National Account Sales Rep for Winnipeg/Saskatchewan region. As the NASR you will focus on our Key Strategic National Accounts in the Industrial, Plumbing, and MRO channels. You must possess passion, initiative, and creativity along with the ability to create and foster strong business relationships. This sales position requires great industry and product knowledge and the ability to communicate Milwaukee’s commitment to excellence.
This role will offer you a foundation for all future roles with the opportunity to work with many different channels within the Milwaukee Team.
Position Description
We are currently seeking a high energy, driven, post-graduate or early career professional to join Milwaukee Tool as a National Accounts Sales Rep based in Manitoba or Saskatoon. This position is an entry-level sales position and is ideal for a recent University graduate or for someone seeking an opportunity to start their career with an innovative, and growing company.
Our IC National Account team is responsible for growing Milwaukee market share amongst our National Account Distributors - Grainger, Lumen, Wolseley, Fastenal, Wajax, and Motion Industries. This includes executing best in class merchandising, hosting branch events/demos, organizing product knowledge sessions, and most importantly working extensively with outside Sales reps to uncover large end user opportunities.
What you will do:
Grow the Milwaukee brand presence at our primary partners White Cap, Wolseley, Motion, Vallen, Grainger and Fastenal, and drive sales throughout their branch network.
Manage the Sales and Marketing programs with your assigned branches including Sell in and sell-through of planned promo decks and partnership programs. Manage all pricing and inventory inquiries and assist with shipping and repair inquiries.
Executing best-in-class branch events and weekly counter days.
Execute weekly/ monthly off-shelf merchandising plans to drive incremental sales.
Work with the account outside sales reps and in-store staff to facilitate end-user opportunities for our JSS team.
Execute planned resets at Branches.
Be a Brand Ambassador and engage sales staff through weekly PK Sessions building a positive brand culture with our key account sales teams.
Manage a large territory with extensive travel requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide sell-in and sell-through directions for all branches in the assigned region.
Manage assigned T&E and POS budgets.
Meet and exceed the assigned sell-in and sell-through targets.
Execute quarterly and monthly plans at the branch level and with key stakeholders
Leverage your industry knowledge to gain additional real estate and influence both inside and outside sellers.
Work closely with the NAM’s and SAM’s to support and implement strategic marketing initiatives.
Maintain product knowledge excellence through continued focus on existing and new product training.
Independently organize and execute PK training at key branches within the assigned region.
Build and develop the relationship with the Fastenal CSC team to uncover new Vending and partnership opportunities.
Work extensively with National Accounts, District Sales Managers, and JSS Teams to facilitate conversions and grow our user base.
Build and execute strategic plans for your region of responsibility.

What you have done:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant Industry Experience.
Have 1 + year of related sales and sales leadership experience.
Are proficient with computers and have experience using all Microsoft Office Programs
Built effective business communication skills, broad business perspective, and market savvy.
Engaged with peers in a collaborative way to drive the objectives of the organization.
