Calling all swimming gurus!! We are seeking an extraordinary Senior Swim Instructor to join our swim program in Barrie. As the Senior Swim Instructor, you will be the captain of the swim ship, responsible for delivering exceptional lessons, and ensuring a fantastic swimming experience for all. This is a part-time position with available shift times on Sundays
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate engaging swimming lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, from tadpoles to seasoned mermaids and mermen.
- Bring your expertise to the pool deck and demonstrate impeccable swimming techniques and strokes with style and finesse.
- Serve as a mentor to our team of swim instructors, providing guidance, support, and sharing your vast knowledge of the swimming world when needed.
- Follow and implement our innovative lesson plans that make a splash with our students and keep them hooked on swimming.
- Ensure a safe and secure swimming environment by maintaining constant vigilance and enforcing our water safety protocols.
- Make a splash of fun by creating a positive and lively atmosphere that encourages laughter, and a love for swimming.
- Keep track of student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones as they master new swimming skills.
Qualifications:
- Dive into this opportunity armed with a certification in CPR-C, Standard First Aid, and National Lifeguard Certificate.
- Show off your swimming power with previous experience as a swim instructor, leading the way with your exceptional teaching skills.
