To support 407 ETRs digital strategy and customer engagement, 407 ETR is recruiting a Marketing Specialist. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience working with marketing automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required, and leverage a combination of strategic, analytical, MarTech, and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns including:
Working with stakeholders to identify objectives, KPIs, and target audience
Developing and deploying marketing campaigns including building & testing of customer journeys, scripting, Cloud Pages and creating effective emails
Optimizing campaigns through A/B testing and campaign learnings to improve performance
Providing reporting, insights, and recommendations to improve results and drive growth
Lead development of Campaigns in Child “Business Unit” and manage the deployment / launch through the Parent “Business Unit”. Following controls as outlined by the IT Department.
Ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud support, enhancements, and system integrations
Lead CRM innovation by spearheading the campaign automation and customer journey roadmap
Provide Salesforce expertise and knowledge-transfer: support and equip stakeholders with Salesforce expertise and training to drive results and customer engagement
A university degree in Business or Marketing
Proficient with marketing automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required
Hands-on experience in developing customer journeys, customer segmentation, creating and deploying emails, and reporting
Deep and advanced knowledge of the email ecosystem
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills

407 ETR's Information Technology division is responsible for the infrastructure and software to enable the efficient operation of the highway-including toll capture, account management, financials, and data storage/analytics-as well as customer services including call-center, web, IVR and supporting workflows.
Delivery is accomplished using an Agile-Scrum approach, including self-organization, short iterations, strong collaboration, and dedicated teams in scrum rooms.
At 407 ETR, all developers meet weekly to briefly hear updates from management, then break off into multiple learning streams. Topics include Cloud, Best Practices in Java, Data Streaming, SalesForce and Data Science. Some weeks, the streams are very hands-on (i.e. getting AWS.CLI up and running, playing with Kubernetes, learning Python). The developer led topics range from a learning above a wide variety of topics (i.e. Cloud, Best Practices in Java, Data Streaming, SalesForce, Data Science...).
