Responsibilities:
To contribute to Maderra Engineering success by supporting the specification, configuration, commissioning as well as the maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrading of various PLC, DCS and instrumentation systems.
•Assist with design and integration of process automation systems
•Support project instrumentation and controls design
•Knowledge of Modicon and Allen-Bradley
•Participate in P&ID, HAZOP, LOPA, and other design reviews
•Preparation of high-quality instrumentation and controls documentation
•Participate in the installation and commissioning of the new automation and instrumentation systems
•Complete as-built drawings and support the project after start-up
•Support Process control optimization
•Understand and support System architecture
•Working knowledge of Emerson DeltaV
Requirements:
· Drawing Reviews (Control Narratives, Shutdown Key, Alarm Lists, etc)
· Participate and/or facilitate HAT, FAT and SAT activities.
· Preference given to candidates based in Calgary/Edmonton region
· Previous experience in field / start-up and commissioning
