Looking for Journeyman plumbers/ Lead hand and 3rd and 4th year plumbers who can help with Multi family condo buildings and Commercial projects for a small up and coming plumbing company
Duties include but are not limited to:
-install of DWV, RWL, Domestic water distribution, Heating and Boiler systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand tools or machines
- Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, boilers and water heaters
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues using pressure gauges and other equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Proficient in pipe threading, cutting, and assembly techniques
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
- Familiarity with remodeling projects and the ability to adapt plumbing systems accordingly
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues
- Valid driver's license and vehicle for driving to and from work
- basic hand tools including battery operated drills, saws-all, ect..
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $39.00-$42.00 per hour
