We are looking to hire an experienced DIESEL ENGINE TRUCK MECHANIC SHOP FOREMAN to work in Edmonton, Canada.
The Shop Foreman is responsible for the supervision of all shop personnel, scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning the resources required to ensure all work orders are completed efficiently, and within the specified time frame
EXPERIENCE IN CUMMINS, AND CATERPILLAR ENGINES WILL BE PREFERRED.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules coordinates, supervises and occasionally participates in the work of a number of journeyman mechanics and semi-skilled personnel engaged in repairing and maintaining light and heavy automotive vehicles and construction equipment.
- Performs the more difficult or unusual diagnoses of malfunctions; determines the corrective measures needed to place equipment in use.
- Maintains job work orders; keeps records of labour, materials, parts, supplies and other records necessary in the repair and maintenance process; controls the release of serviced and repaired vehicles.
- Supervises automotive servicemen engaged in cleaning, servicing and lubricating mechanical equipment.
- Performs related work as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years' experience of working on Heavy DutyTruck engines
- The candidate should have the Legit Paperwork to work in Canada.
- Applicants must be Canadian Citizens/Permanent Residents/Open Work permit Holders
