Range of Tasks my include
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture (P&C) the P&C Intern helps drive recruitment initiatives, contributes to training projects, and provides administrative support to the People & Culture Team.

Recruitment- coordinating and scheduling interviews, creating job postings (internal/ external), participating/ shadowing in interview process, conducting reference checks for candidates.

Coordinating Summer Student/ Articling Student Recruitment with Practice Management Counsel.

Maintaining shared inboxes for Team P&C and tracking internal bids.

Coordinating New Hire Onboarding - creating content for new hire orientation (i.e. LMS training content), revising new hire checklists, collecting onboarding/ payroll documents through ADP.

Updating P&C reports such as KPIs, Staff Establishment Listing, Successful Applicant Memo, Union Billing for leaves, etc.

Tracking Employee Reviews including Probation, Trial Reviews and Annual Reviews.

Administer Employee Relocation process including Promissory Notes and submitting expense claims.

Leading the Records Management project, including digital migration of physical EE records, organizing current archive, and developing a records disposal system based on government retention guidelines.

Assisting with revision of offer letters, drafting offer letters, creating templates from past precedents.

Working with eTicket platform to notify IT of incoming, outgoing, leaves and transferring staff.
Position Requirements

Completed at least 2 year(s) of Post-Secondary Education and must be returning as a student after the work term.

Able to use a computer, database, and is skilled in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated aptitude for client service.
