We are looking to a great team member and customer-oriented shop assistants with cooking and baking experience to ensure the smooth running of in-store operations.
Working days and hours required:
Thursday through Monday: approx 10am - 5.30pm (will be pre-discussed with the suitable candidate) (Tuesday and Wednesday are days off)
The shop assistant’s / assistant cook&baker responsibilities include FOH and BOH duties, such as welcoming customers to our shop, food order processing (food and ingredient preparation), handling customer payments, arranging window displays, upkeep and cleaning of premises, support baking activities.
Additionally, you will be assisting our full time baker in the preparation of all all food items, including baking. You will also be involved in the development of new menu items.
To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, attentive to customer requests and be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
