Job Title: Application Specialist
Reporting to: Head of IT and Business Intelligence
Office: Kitchener (Hybrid)
Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Application Specialist to lead the design and implementation of new applications, enhancements, and integrations to enable the growth of Carlsberg Canada. The Application Specialist will work closely with the Head of IT and Business Intelligence to deliver solutions aligning with the IT Roadmap and the requirements of the business.
Accountabilities:
Application Support (30%)
· Support all business systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and downstream applications integrations.
· Responsible for ERP and replated subsystem administration and maintenance
· Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues with end users.
· Timely escalation of issues as needed with IT teams and vendors.
· Work closely with vendors and integrators to resolve complex issues.
· Assess performance of ERP system and recommend enhancements.
Business Analyst (50%)
· Facilitate and lead inter-departmental communication related to problems and understand business and technical goals and objectives.
· Analyze, design and document business requirements and recommend solutions for new applications, enhancements, and integrations.
· Review the existing business processes and makes recommendations for areas of improvement or automation.
· Work with developers and vendors to implement recommended solutions based on business requirements.
· Understand testing requirements and build and support test planning and execution to validate that solutions meet the business requirements.
· Execute EDI test scripts and validate import data.
· Build and execute support and go-live plans for developed solutions.
Project Management (20%)
· Manage multiple IT Projects at a time including application implementation, enhancements and integrations with vendors and internal stakeholders.
· Direct all aspects of each project including planning, scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, resources, communication, and deployment.
· Develop and communicate with internal/external teams all process changes and go-live plans.

Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in applications, business analyst or a related field.
· Strong knowledge of Business Central or Dynamics 365
· Experience with ERP upgrades and/or migrations
· Basic Knowledge of EDI
· Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
