Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, In-Flight Services, the In-Flight Trainer, Cabin Safety is responsible in facilitating the delivery of the Cabin Safety theoretical and practical training to the standard set by Transport Canada.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivery of the Porter Airlines Canada Limited Training Programs with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.

Provide a safe, organized and enjoyable learning environment which engages and motivates Porter crew

Preparation of training materials, documentation, and confirmation of aircraft schedules

Ensuring all training programs are delivered accurately and consistently in accordance with training lesson plans,
- Assist in the development and delivery of cabin safety/cabin service training programs

Organize training logistics and agenda

Build a positive working relationship with all trainees / cabin crew and promote teamwork through the creation of a positive, motivating learning environment

Ensure all training programs and lesson plans are delivered accurately and consistently

Assess crew performance and provide constructive feedback through existing methods, measurements, and criteria during initial/annual cabin crew training

Provide feedback and ideas on new and existing training programs, including learning objectives and lesson plans

Operate in Purser or Cross-trained Flight Attendant role as required

Any other duties assigned

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year’s of experience as a Flight Attendant in a multi-crew jet aircraft

Certificate/diploma in adult learning education considered a strong asset

Experience as a Purser/Incharge Flight Attendant is considered a strong asset

Excellent written and verbal skills

Excellent facilitation and instructing skills

Highly flexible and adaptable to last minute schedule changes and extensions

Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
