The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Senior Frontend Developer for our eCommerce Team within our Home Office located at 147 Commerce Drive in Winnipeg, MB . This is a Hybrid In Office/Work from Home role.
As a Senior Frontend Developer you will be responsible for developing the interactive web applications and required features or enhancements on Shopify. In this role, the individual will create pixel-perfect and user-friendly interfaces based on designs using the latest web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

As the Senior Frontend Developer you will:
Develop scalable user interfaces for the eCommerce applications.
Develop features powered by Shopify.
Collaborate across multi-departmental teams to provide solutions for problems at hand.
Write and maintain clean and commented code.
Train and mentor other developers and teams on implementing the code.
Integrate third-party vendors and applications into Shopify, following best practices and processes.
Provide estimations for requested features and work on Azure DevOps or Jira following the agile process.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, programming, software development or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
7+ years of experience developing interactive web applications and e-commerce websites is an asset.
Strong proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3, client-side JavaScript and Vue.js, and code versioning systems like git and module bundlers.
Familiarity with writing unit test cases.
Working knowledge of translating Figma designs into interactive HTML and CSS.
Proficiency in API integration and SEO best practices is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Works well in a team environment and effectively collaborates on complex projects.
Critical thinker and problem solver, with strong attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.
