Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

Hux Recruitment Services is working closing with a Halifax based medical clinics committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our team and contribute to improving the health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop individual care plans
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established protocols and guidelines
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, X-rays and other medical investigations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians to provide coordinated and integrated care
- Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families to promote wellness and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Current registration and licensure as a primary healthcare Nurse Practitioner in Nova Scotia
- Degree in nursing (Nurse Practitioner program) from an accredited institution
- Advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in primary care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Travel may be required if desired
